    Bell threw six touchdowns – a PFL single-game best in 2014 – to lead Jacksonville past Davidson, 56-0, Saturday. His six touchdowns were the third most (one shy of the best mark) in the FCS this season. Bell completed 20-of-24 passes with no interceptions for 417 yards, giving him a 313.38 pass efficiency rating on the day – third best in the FCS this season. He threw touchdown passes to five different receivers with three going for 50-plus yards.

    DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
    John Guilford, Valparaiso

    Junior | Defensive End | Spencer, Ohio
    Guilford was credited with four tackles for loss, including three sacks, as Valparaiso defeated Butler, 17-3, Saturday. Both his tackle for loss and sack totals were the best in the PFL this season and ranked 13th and 10th among FCS single-game performances this season. Guilford also had seven tackles (five solo) in the win and helped Valparaiso limit Butler to three points – its lowest point total against Valparaiso since 1945.

    Pignatiello averaged 41.8 yards on five punts in Dayton’s 34-30 PFL loss to Drake, Saturday. He had one downed inside the 20-yard line and had a 64-yard punt. Pignatiello saw four punts returned but Dayton special teams helped him maintain a 35.4 yard net punting average.

    Ryan Belden, San Diego
    Sophomore | Punter | Diamond Bar, California
    Belden averaged 41.7 yards on six punts in San Diego’s 49-28 win against Morehead State, Saturday. He saw two punts fall in the end zone for touchbacks and had a 48-yard long punt. Belden saw one punt return against him and San Diego’s special teams helped him keep a 34.3 net punting average.
